There's a question nobody teaches you to ask: "How do I know when I have enough?"

We're taught to chase. To reach. To want more. More money, more followers, more credentials, more experiences. The goalpost always moves. Success, as sold to us, is a moving target.

But somewhere in this striving, a quieter voice emerges. "Is this it? Have I crossed the line?"

The problem is the goalpost was someone else's idea to begin with. You inherited it. You never chose it.

Enough is a personal number. Not a social one. It can't be benchmarked against others because their enough is built on their fears and their stories, not yours.

When you define your own "enough," something shifts. The urgency eases. You can breathe. Work becomes intentional rather than desperate.

This doesn't mean settling. It means being honest about what you actually need versus what you've been told you need.

What's your number? Have you ever actually asked yourself?

This piece captures my thinking at the time of writing. Like everything living, my perspectives evolve. What is true for me today might not be tomorrow. If you find an error or want to discuss, feel free to reach out.
